Day 1 - Cochin - Thattekkadu
You are greeted on arrival in Cochin international Airport by our representative and transfer to Thattekkadu. Check in Hotel Birds lagoon. THATTEKKAD BIRD SANCTUARY is 78km from Cochin and regarded as the best place in Kerala to see birds. This sanctuary is also known as the Dr Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, named after the world-renowned ornithologist (1896-1987) who described Thattekkadu as a 'birder's paradise'. 300 species of bird may be found there, including Ceylon frog-mouths, Malabar grey hornbills, jungle mynas, rose-billed rollers and various woodpeckers. Over night stay at hotel.
Day 2 - Munnar
In the morning depart for Munnar enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. Arrive Munnar and check in at hotel. In the evening you can go for sight seeing of Munnar and witness tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lust green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the covered by Tata tea. Day 3 - Thekkady
Drive through rubber plantations and forested mountains and finally reach the Periyar National Park, one of the wonderful wildlife sanctuaries in India, to see wild elephants. Optional boat cruise in the Periyar wildlife sanctuary lake. You will have the rest of the day free to explore on own. Overnight stay will be at the hotel at Tree Top.
Day 4 - Allepey
After Breakfast Check Out from the Hotel. Transfer to Alleppy.
Check in Hotel Lake Palace . Stay at hotel.Alleppey is one of the most important tourist centers in the state, with a large network of inland canals earning it the sobriquet " Venice of the east". These large networks of canals provide Alleppey its lifeline. Alleppey was one of the busiest centers of trade in the past with one of the best known ports along the Malabar Coast . Even today it retains its charm as the centre for Coir carpet industries and prawn farming. Alleppey the ideal headquarters for backwater tourism as well as for visits to the lovely church filled town of Kottayam , and the town of Aranmula , famous for its historic Aranmula Snake Boat Race which is an annual event.
Day 5 - House Boat
Check in Alleppey- cruise through Punnamada Lake - visit the Chavara Bhavan, olden wooden house - enjoy the panoramic views of paddy fields, narrow canals and coconut lagoons - visit the O'clock, C'Block - visit Pathiramanal Island .This will be romantic once in a life time experience for the honeymoon couples. Over Night stay at House boat.
Day 6 - Cochin
After breakfast you will drive to Kochi Check in Hotel Taj residency. The cultural and commercial hub of Kerala. Watch a spectacular Kath kali performance along with its make-up process. In the evening you will be free to explore the market in Cochin . Overnight stay will be at hotel in Cochin
Day 7 - Departures
After breakfast from the HOTEL, leave for Cochin International Airport back to your destination with the sweet and ever cherishing memories of the wonderful honeymoon holidays you just had.
