Day 1 - Thiruvananthapuram / Kovalam
Upon arrival our representative will pick you up and transfer to the Taj resort at Kovalam. You will have rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 - Kovalam
After breakfast we will take you on a city tour of Trivandrum / Thiruvananthapuram. Overnight stay will be at the resort. You will have full day to relax at the wonderful tropical beach and watch local fishermen on traditional kattamaram. You will also have the option of rejuvenating yourself with the much acclaimed Ayurveda treatment. Overnight stay at Hotel Taj resort.
Day 3 - Alleppey
After Breakfast Check Out from the Hotel. Transfer to Alleppy.
Check in Hotel Lake Palace. Stay at hotel.Alleppey is one of the most important tourist centers in the state, with a large network of inland canals earning it the sobriquet "Venice of the east". These large networks of canals provide Alleppey its lifeline. Alleppey was one of the busiest centers of trade in the past with one of the best known ports along the Malabar Coast. Even today it retains its charm as the centre for Coir carpet industries and prawn farming.
Day 4 - Alleppey (Houseboat)
Check in Alleppey- cruise through Punnamada Lake - visit the Chavara Bhavan, olden wooden house - enjoy the panoramic views of paddy fields, narrow canals and coconut lagoons - visit the O'clock, C'Block - visit Pathiramanal Island – over night stay at House Boat.
Day 5 - Thekkady
Drive through rubber plantations and forested mountains and finally reach the Periyar National Park, one of the wonderful wildlife sanctuaries in India, to see wild elephants. Optional boat cruise in the Periyar wildlife sanctuary lake. You will have the rest of the day free to explore on own. Overnight stay will be at the hotel at Tree Top.
Day 6 - Thekkady - Munnar
After a picturesque drive through jungles, waterfalls and spice plantations, reach the high ranges of Munnar, the highest and the most beautiful tea growing region in the world. You can also visit the tea estate and factory after some leisure.
Day 7 - Munnar
After breakfast you will visit the Eravikkulam National Park to see the endangered Nilgri Tahr and other wildlife. Rest of the day will be free to visit some beautiful spots around Munnar. Overnight stay will be at Munnar Black Berry..
Day 8 - Munnar - Kochi / Cochin
After breakfast you will drive to Kochi, the cultural and commercial hub of Kerala. Watch a spectacular Kath kali performance along with its make-up process. In the evening you will be free to explore the market in Cochin. Opportunity in Cochin for excellent shopping silk, spices, handicraft, gold etc. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Cochin Wyte Fort .
Day 9 - Kochi / Cochin
After breakfast you will go for a day sightseeing at Fort Kochi. You will also visit the Mattancherry palace, Jewish synagogue, Jew town, old spice markets, St. Francis church, Santa Cruz Basilica and Chinese fishing nets. In the evening visit Kalari center to witness Kalaripayattu, the ancient Kerala martial art.
Day 10 - Kochi/Cochin Onwards
It is time to say goodbye to Kerala as your Kerala spice tour comes to an end. Our representative will transfer you to railway station/airport for onward journey
